Is my watch suitable for diving?
It's a Casio MDV-102, it says WR200M (Water Resistant 200 meters, 660 ft). And on the back it says Water Resist 20BAR, which equals 200 meters, which equals 660 ft. Can I go snorkeling or diving with my watch on? Casio lists it on their website as a Diver's watch, although most diver's watches say Divers 200M. Anyway, I know I can go swimming with it on, but how about snorkeling/diving?
If it doesn't say "Divers 200M" then it wasn't designed for diving. You shouldn't have any problems with it while snorkeling, but it isn't meant to be submersed at diving pressures for long periods.
That said, you may be able to use it while diving for some unknown period of time before it fails. It depends upon how much value you place on the watch if you want to risk it.
