trying to bring my Canon G12 camera for underwater photography?
Currently I have the G12 with the underwater housing canon, and I prefer not to spend $ 1000 in getting a home ikelight. I wondered, however somehow I can buy an external flash, and possibly wide-angle lens for use in gun deck?
Canon housing under water is not exactly optimized for diving as the Ikelite. I have a house for my Canon G-10, but my main use it for kayaking. Anyway, there is no external output for strobe lights. There is a clip on the diffuser for camera flash, with a strap to prevent loss. The cover and the camera has a positive buoyancy (good for navigation), so diving would have to purchase the optional weight set. (Do not want to be the combat survivability.) I doubt that the box has room for a wide-angle ancillary lens. The 28 mm (135 equivalent) zoom lens G12 should be plenty wide.
