i am looking at an invicta dive watch and was wondering how japanes automatic movement is different from say a 21 jewel or a 26 or a 27 jewel automtic movement
Japanese automatic movement only tells you that the watch uses Japanese technology (as opposed to China or Swiss). It does not tell you whether or not it's 21, 26 or 27 jewel, so you may have to look at the manual for that info. If you want to know more details, read the following article:
