Is a collective term for a large variety of products including travertine, marble, granite, limestone, tumbled marble. As they are "natural" tiles they are often very hard-wearing (and to cut!) However natural stone tiles can also be porous and require treating or sealing before use

Porcelain Floor Tile

Porcelain Tiles are generally harder wearing than ceramic tiles and virtually impervious to water, making them frost resistant. Porcelain tiles are used either for indoor or outdoor applications, on walls and floors. Often manufactured in larger sizes than ceramic.

what adhesive should I use for underwater tiling?

As a scuba diver I have been asked to do some tiling in a leisure centre swimming pool. Not sure what adhesive to use or even how to go about it but I'm keen to give it a go. Any advice?

you will have to drain the pool, I think , I don't know of a glue that you can use underwater during application. But if you drain the pool, try Uni-flex by C-Cure to set the tile.
